A: The candle is made with the highest quality natural cosmetic-grade waxes and other plant extracts. When it melts, Jimmyjane's proprietary formula transforms into a slow absorption, high-slip massage balm. During a massage, the candle nourishes and hydrates the skin.

Q: How hot does the wax get?
A: Once you've snuffed the flame, the wax immediately cools to a perfect, body-ready temperature. Our proprietary blend of natural waxes is specifically designed for massage, and melts at a lower temperature than ordinary waxes.

Q: Why does the candle come with a lid?
A: The container lid is carefully designed to keep the candle clean and dust-free when it's not burning. Keep it covered when not in use to make sure it functions best when lit; when it is lit, just set the lid beneath candle as a convenient and attractive base.

Q: Tell me more about the candle's clean burn.
A: The candle is made with a lead-free cotton wick, so it burns cleanly. Jimmy Jane's proprietary wax formula produces less soot, and burns 50 percent longer than regular paraffin-based waxes. For optimal burning, trim the wick to 1/4" before each time it's lit.

Q: I'm always very careful when I burn regular candles. Do I need to take any additional precautions with this candle?
A: Follow the same precautions you should take with any candle:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
• Never burn a candle for more than four hours at a time.
• Place candles on heat-resistant surfaces, away from flammable materials.
• Never burn a candle completely. Repurpose the container when half an inch of wax remains in the container.
• Never move a burning candle. Always extinguish candle prior to playing with wax.
• Ceramic container may become hot to the touch during use.
• Wax is intended for external use only.
• As with any cosmetic product, test a small amount of the melted wax on a small portion of skin prior to use. If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use.

Advices

Unwrap the candle from the packaging by removing the seal and grey protective foam.

• Take care when removing the candle from the box. Due to the low melting point of the wax blend, the candle may become soft in transit. If the candle container is slippery, simply wipe clean with a dry paper towel.
  
  
• Before burning, place the lid beneath the candle to protect the surface below from heat.
  
  
• Light the candle and let the scents guide your mood. - If you want to use the candle for massage, let it burn until the entire surface of the candle has melted. This will ensure that the candle will continue to burn evenly with every use. Once the candle is ready, blow out the candle and get started.
  
  
• Drizzle the warm wax onto the body to excite the senses. Star with a small amount of wax (approximately the size of a quarter)
  
  
• It goes a long way, and you can always add more. Wax will remain slippery until absorbs into the skin. We want you to play safe, so keep the wax away from sensitive skin. See warning for additional information.
  
  
• Wax in the container will remain liquid for 30 miutes or more, so you'lll have plenty of time to perfect your technique.
  
  
• Before putting the candle away, re-center the wick while the wax is still liquid to ensure a clean burn the next time you use it. Candle will cool and re-solidify naturally.
  
  
• Cover the candle with the lid to keep the wax clean and dust-free. Store in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
